Dentistry

Dental disease, if left unchecked, leads to discomfort and poor quality of life.  Additionally, when the gums are diseased the bacteria in the mouth will enter the bloodstream and affect all major organs, particularly the heart and kidneys.

While our veterinarian evaluates your pet’s oral health during each examination, a complete oral assessment through timely dental cleanings can slow the progression of existing disease and alleviate pain.

Complete blood testing minimizes complications during cleanings and oral surgeries, such as extractions, and can often identify existing conditions prior to procedures.  Because your pet is unique, blood testing also allows us to determine baseline values, or what is normal for your pet.
